Description: The Orchestra Shell is another in a long list of successful projects by GMA at the Hult Center. Twenty panels, each weighing approximately 9,000 pounds, were designed to be set up on the Silva Concert Hall Stage for orchestral performances.  Careful coordination with an acoustician led to a shell that meets stringent functional requirements while maintaining a visual harmony within the performance space.  

Project Scope: New orchestra shell for the City of Eugene, OR.  Completed 2000.
