Slightly Coffee Roasters

Designed as a counterpart to The Barn Light in downtown Eugene, Slightly Coffee Roasters aims to create a brighter, sunnier, and softer experience. Colors from eastern Oregon were chosen to compliment the building housing the coffee shop. The design was set out to reinforce the company’s mission: Create approachable, unique coffee experiences.

By working closely with Slightly Coffee Roasters the vision was realized. A light, airy space with a depth of materials and colors, changing with the quality of light throughout the day. The event space is connected through a café window and an open doorway that creates a visual connection to the most important cultural component of the space.
