Gerald McDonnell and Associates, P.C. seeks full time architectural designer for the Eugene, OR office.
The job duties include:
Deliver iterative design ideas for various structures including mixed-use, hospitality, urban infill, residential, and adaptive reuse structures considering environmental, cultural, and social needs of the client and community;
Develop architectural design solutions including steel and masonry elements; Prepare scale drawings and/or architectural designs;
Design various structures in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
Direct technicians/drafters in preparing drawings or specification documents;
Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, or equipment;
Participate in the conceptual design of various projects;
Liaise with Project Management, architect/architectural staff, and consultants on design projects;
Develop and represent lead technical design viewpoint on projects;
Coordinate with staff on appropriate technical design solutions and product strategies.
Travel up to 5% of in various locations throughout Oregon is required.
